My great grandmother (x2) was Dorothea Fink of Nassau, Germany. She left Germany on the New Yorker and came to America in 1852. She was 20 years old. I believe she may have been traveling with Peter and William Scheid. She married John George Besier in Sandusky, Ohio and they settled in Monroe, Michigan. Later, she had two daughters who married Scheid siblings.

Could she a relation to the Fink family mentioned on this website?

I trace my paternal line to William Wash, who was born about 1780 in either England or Ireland, and then immigrated to Virginia, USA prior to 1810. I have started a Y-DNA project to try link anyone with the paternal line of WASH. The website for my project is at: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Wash

I am interested in locating any person with the surname of WASH who also has their WASH paternal line traced back to either England or Ireland.
