  • grandson of George Henry FINK, 4th child of Peter and Elizabeth Fink

William Flynn HYNES

  • Royal Dublin Fusiliers (regular soldier)
  • b 1 January 1878 – d 29 June 1915
  • killed at Gallipoli
  • uncle to James Henry Hart who is the son-in-law of George Henry FINK, 4th child of Peter and Elizabeth Fink

William Thomas WASH

  • Private 1031, Huntingdon Cyclist Battalion
  • Son of John Henry and Jane Wash thus Elizabeth Wash’s nephew
  •  Born 1889  – died of wounds received 01 Sep 1916 in WWI
  • buried in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, VIII. B. 170

Charles WASH

  • Private 37751, Royal Engineers
  • Son of Robert & Minnie Wash of Spriggs Farm, Ingatestone, Essex
  • Born 1879  – Died 25 October 1918 during the Salonica Campaign
  • Buried Plovdiv Central Cemetary, D. 6.

Walter Herbert WASH

  • Able Seaman J 12352, Royal Navy
  • Son of Robert & Minnie Wash of Spriggs Farm, Ingatestone, Essex
  • Born 1895 – Died 4 June 1919, lost when HMS L55 (Submarine) was sunk in the Gulf of Finland.
